It’s not the first time that I have cried when I start to sing the Canadian national anthem. It doesn’t escape me that I live in a country that is free.
Thoughts from me on getting a year older. It is all that it’s cracked up to be.

I realized that I want to be authentic each moment of my life. Authentically me. Authentically true to my values. Authentically outgoing, or authentically quiet…whatever is called for in the moment, that is what I want to be.
I want to see everyone being useful and important, and integral in our world. Just like the trees, we all have a role to play, no matter what stage. Get grounded and plant those roots to grow.

It’s officially spring according to the calendar. Last week, March 21 ushered in the season many people in Canada (and probably most that are somewhat north of the equator) have been patiently waiting for. The time where the weather will miraculously switch to warmth and sun.
